Omega House is a straightforward American breakfast spot tucked along Peters Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem. It doesn’t try to impress from the outside, but step inside and you’ll find a clean, welcoming space where the focus is solid home-style cooking and attentive service. The atmosphere tends to be lively and a bit noisy at peak times, reflecting a steady flow of locals and travelers alike settling in for a hearty morning meal.

This is a place for those who appreciate traditional diner-style breakfasts done well. The menu covers all the classics with a couple of regional nods—like fish and grits or country fried steak—alongside well-made omelettes, pancakes, and savory sides such as fried squash. Many patrons seem to appreciate the dependable freshness of the food and the generous portion sizes, especially if you like your eggs and grits or a stacked omelette breakfast. Coffee and sweet tea are reliable complements here, perfect for washing down the hearty plates.

Omega House feels best on a morning when you want to slow down a bit, maybe on a weekday or weekend early enough to avoid a crowd but still feel the comfortable buzz of other diners sharing the space. Service tends to be warm and attentive with staff who seem to know regulars and newcomers alike, contributing to an inviting local rhythm. It’s the kind of spot where you can grab a quick solo breakfast or linger with family and friends over platefuls of classic Southern-influenced American fare.

People who enjoy straightforward meals where comfort and consistency matter will feel at home here—whether you’re a Winston-Salem local or just passing through looking for breakfast that’s more than a grab-and-go. The prices lean toward reasonable, making it easy to come back again.

Great breakfast. They are very attentive to the customers. I loved the service and all of the waitresses. This was my first and will not be my last. This has been one of the best customer experiences I have had.

I have driven by this restaurant for years not quite sure about it. Outside never looked impressive or made me want to stop, but after talking with some friends who raved about it, I decided to check it out. The inside was clean and updated. I would say the prices were great. The staff friendly and attentive. The food delicious. Get the chorizo omelet. Sooo good. The pancakes are slightly sweet and fluffy.

Mixed bag. It took quite awhile for us to be seated despite there being no line and them being very well staffed. However, once we finally sat down, the food came out quickly. The food was pretty average diner food. I liked mine more than my girlfriend liked hers. The atmosphere was noisy but friendly. I'd give them another chance.

We were taking a road trip to the mountains and wanted to enjoy a sit down breakfast. I Googled breakfast near me and ended up here. The wait Staff was so welcoming when we arrived. When we were seated, I was excited to see they offered FISH and GRITS for breakfast. Those were the TWO BIGGEST pieces of Flounder!!!! Oh and it was absolutely AMAZING. Sean had the Country Fried Steak cooked to his Medium preference. My one regret is that I didn't get the HOMEFRIES. The owner Kim was so sweet and I let her know, she definitely has a new customer. Glad we visited.

Had never been here before but my buddy wanted to grab lunch and he suggested we go. Located on a main road it does not look very appealing from the outside. Nothing fancy, tight parking spots but sufficient. It looks small but once you head inside it is actually a decent size with plenty of tables and booths. We decided to sit at the counter which faces the kitchen. The menu reads like a diner. They have breakfast all day and great lunch and dinner dishes available. I went with a chorizo n and peppers omelette with a side of sausage gravy & bacon as an add on. 1st off, the waitresses are very friendly and we’re on top of everything. Order was taken quickly and it was prepared just as fast and yet fresh. The omelette was loaded with chopped chorizo and peppers. The sausage gravy had bits of sausage and was a perfect topping for my eggs. The bacon was crispy but not overly done. Everything was perfect. I also watched as other orders were prepared and placed on the kitchen counter for the waitress’s to pick up. They all look very hearty and worth a try. Prices are reasonable so I will definitely come back to try other dishes. I am happy my buddy put me on to this place. BTW….. I was so excited to dig in that I never got a picture of my food! lol
